Colorado Buyer Guide

Things to know before buying in Colorado.

Is a tiny home legal in Denver?

Yes. Denver's ADU zoning permits manufactured tiny homes on qualifying lots. Park model RVs in RV parks require no special permitting.

What snow load is required?

Colorado mountain installations (above 8,000 ft) typically require 60–80 psf roof load. Front Range locations require 30–50 psf. All our Colorado builds ship engineered for the placement altitude.

Can I go off-grid in Colorado?

Yes — most rural Colorado counties permit off-grid tiny homes on land you own. Our solar-ready, cistern-ready, composting-toilet-ready configurations are popular for San Luis Valley and Western Slope buyers.

What about altitude and HVAC?

Standard HVAC derates at altitude. All Colorado builds ship with altitude-rated heat-pump HVAC and sealed-combustion propane backup for cold-weather reliability.
